Life as we know it is quickly vanishing. Both boys can army crawl and are pushing up on their hands and knees.... which means crawling can't be too far away! We have already started baby-proofing a little with outlet covers and moving a few things out of the living room, but I think it's time to do a run-through of the entire house. Tyler - aka Curious George - gave me a run for my money during bath time last night. We still use the infant tub so we can only bathe one baby at a time - and I was by myself last night, making it a little more tricky. I gave Tyler a bath and put Max on the floor right outside the bathroom with some toys. He doesn't move too quickly or go very far, so it was no problem and he played with his toys the whole time. Then I switched and put Max in the bath and Tyler on the floor with some toys. Within a few seconds, Tyler had army crawled to the window and was pulling on the drapes in our bedroom! Not good. So I put him back with his toys and a few seconds later he was pulling on my hair straightener cord that was hanging from the counter (which was not hot but would have fallen directly on his head!) Needless to say Max had a short bath and I have to re-think our bath routine when I'm flying solo :)
Here is a video of Tyler's favorite new toy. He army crawls to it several times a day and Max joins in too!

there is somthing about the door stops that all little boyz love! They make great sounds!!! And you might want to really take a good look at the white rubber part...they do come off! Nate was found over and over with the white rubber thing in his mouth! Also just an FYI...maybe santa should bring 2 bath tub seats? Both Nate and Gabe loved them!
So sweet! I love the look on Tyler's face when you ask him "what are you doing"...classic.
A free toy? You can't beat that! :)
You're amazing, Bridge. I'm sweating over here just thinking about giving one little baby a bath, let alone bathing one and watching out for another one :)
Bridget,
What a GREAT video:) I luv that he waits until the noise is over before he starts again! No need spending lots of $ on toys when you have door stops etc. Preston's favorite is a FULL, usually clean,
laundry basket. He luvs to dump it over then push it all over the room. The other is a mylar balloon.
I cut the string short then he hits it like a punching bag. Free entertainment for hours.
I'm soooo proud of you. The boys are so adorable and so happy.
Luv u
Aunt Flash & Preston
OK that video is too cute. That is one of Caden's favorite toy's too. It entertains him when we are in his bathroom and I am trying to get his bath ready or fix a bottle or something. Give him a door stop and an empty water jug and his is all set. Looks like you really have your hands full now. It only gets worse and more challanging, but it's so fun! Girl you just wait until they REALLY start crawling....nothing gets done and you spend all your time telling them "no,no,no". Caden is a pro crawler now and he tries to run away from us. It's too funny.
