So apparently this upcoming 2nd birthday is making me very nostalgic, because I keep finding myself looking back on old pictures, videos, and blog posts. I was pleasantly surprised to come across this post (which I completely forgot I had done) that gave a photo review of 2008. I loved looking back at the year, so I figured I should do one for 2009 too. Enjoy!

We agree with Gretchen-Awesome. As grandparents, Big Jim,Nana and I have a wonderful daughter (in-law) to provide us with this ongoing chronicle--we are blessed. G-Pa Sam and Nana (and I bet Big J)
Gretchen, hi..I just found your blog though browsing and what a pleasure it was to read through a lot of it! Your boys are incredibly handsome and cute! Such sweet little faces..and what miracles they are. My fraternal twin boys, Eric and Patrick, were born at 36 weeks, but I tell you, we are are just as little: seems like our stats are pretty much the same. Maybe Patrick is a bit taller but not Eric. It's nice to see another pair of twins that are not 20lb by 9 months! We feel very much like we are unique and people make so many comments to us in piblic about their size- as if you don't get attention with twins as is, right?
Anyways, I look forward following your blog and seeing what fun stuff are ahead of us! E&P will be 17 months old in a few days... Take care, Esther
What a beautiful look back at 2009. So much has happened in the past 12 months. I agree totally with G-Pa Sam. We are so lucky to have this photo gallery to keep us close to these amazing little guys. And when I want to really get nostalgic I look at the video from April 2008 listening to What a Wonderful World as it plays in the background.

Oh man! I love the 2009 pics. But it takes a whole different meaning when you go back and look at 2008. happy tears are coming down my cheeks. I can't believe that they are almost TWO!! They (and you guys) are just amazing! LOVE YOU!
