Since we are oh-so-close to the end of RSV season, we went out on a limb last weekend and took the boys to their first sit-down meal at a REAL RESTAURANT! I know. Major news. We bought these cool travel seats that hook right onto the table and also brought stick-on disposable table mats for the boys -- because yes, they are so old and grown-up now that they ate cheese bread and pizza just like us.
So here we are -- after 2 1/2 months of the NICU, 3 more months on oxygen and monitors at home, and 6 months of RSV season -- we are finally coming out of the fog. And if eating at a restaurant as a family brings this much excitement, I can't imagine what else is in store for us hermits.

Looks like a fun family outing! Yay for germy season getting over!
The boys will have many more opportunities to test "the great outdoors" next week. Don't bring the tugboat--it causes trouble !!! Nana and Grandpa
