The first part of our 6 day trip to Texas included visits to San Antonio and Brownsville. Our flight left Nashville at 7:30am, which meant we had to wake the boys up at 5am to get to the airport. Needless to say they were a little sleepy at the airport but ended up doing great on the 2 hour flight. We entertained them with snacks and toys (and a short nap on the plane), so thankfully we avoided being "those people" with loud, screaming babies. We met Andy's parents in San Antonio and went to lunch on the Riverwalk and then to the Alamo. Unfortunately it was raining so we didn't get to see much of the Riverwalk, but it was a great start to our trip. We rented a van and drove 4.5 hours to Brownsville to Andy's grandparents house - and surprisingly the car ride went by pretty quickly too. We stayed in Brownsville for 3 nights and had a great time -- went golfing and swimming, took walks around the neighborhood, had some great food and went to the Brownsville Zoo. Here are some pics from the first part of our trip. More to come!

We had two Pack 'N Play cribs but the boys ended up sharing one the whole time. Here they are with plenty of room :) Max is getting squashed as usual.

Fun! Love the safari hats. I didn't know Andy had family in Brownsville...I do too! :)
Great photos! Those travel seats are fantastic. Are the boys southpaws? They sure look like it in the thumb-sucking scene at the airport. What a fabulous vacation for everyone! Terrific!!
Love,
Dad/Big Jim
Looks like you all had a great time. Congrats on your first family vacay!
Bridge,
As usual, great photos. I'm so proud of you getting the generation pics. I hate that there weren't 4 generations when my kids were little. But I have taken 4 generation pics with Preston. Lucky kids :)
Luv u
