We had a great Easter - the boys' first Easter at home since they were still in the NICU last year! We had an early start to the day (like every day with these two) and went to church at 8:30am. It was Max and Tyler's first church experience and they did really well -- thanks in big part to our good friend Cheerios. After church we thought it was only fitting to visit the NICU - our first time back since the boys were discharged almost exactly a year ago on April 10th. One of our favorite doctors, Dr. Grahm, was working and he gave us a big hug and remembered the boys and said they looked great. None of our primary nurses were working (Karen, Edra or Ginny) but we saw a few other nurses who grabbed the boys right away. The NICU recently got a huge multi-million dollar renovation so it looked nothing like it did when the boys were there. Probably a good thing because we avoided some of the anxiety-ridden memories that are associated with the NICU. It was actually a wonderful visit and we were so glad we went.
We spent the rest of the day at home - watching the Masters, eating ham, and relaxing. Of course we missed being with our extended families but it was a great first Easter as a family of four. We hope everyone else enjoyed the holiday weekend!

Easter '09
I didn't take very many pictures at all this year, but I did get a comparison shot like I said I would last Easter.

Happy Easter Jones Family! What a difference one year makes. I love the way Tyler's left arm is raised to give him proper balance as he gets ready to pass the football. Notre Dame here we come!
Great photos and Sam and Linda look so happy holding those little guys.
Can't wait to see all of you!
Much love,
Dad/Big Jim
