I guess after the big 1 year milestone, 13 months didn't seem very exciting because I totally forgot to take the boys' monthly chair picture. I was a week late taking the picture and almost 3 weeks late posting an update -- but better late than never. I'm guessing I won't be still taking these monthly shots when Tyler and Max are 11 years old, but I'll keep going until they stop changing so much on a monthly basis!
Max and Tyler are so much fun these days and seem to learn something new every day. They both clap their hands and can somewhat play "ball" with us. Max gets really excited and actually throws the ball, whereas Tyler doesn't like to let go and will sometimes just crawl over and hand it to us. They have been trying to repeat words that we say (or at least sounds that have some semblance of a word), and both boys have said "ball" on multiple occasions. Both of their favorite word, by a long shot, is "Dada" (even though I repeat "Mama" to them at least 22 times a day) and they say "DaDaDaDa" all day long. They are becoming more rebellious at mealtime (and have finally stopped gagging with chunky food) and will try just about anything if we cut it up small enough. Just yesterday they drank from sippy cups so we're on our way to a bottle-free life! Our latest task is getting the boys to stand completely unsupported. Max has done it a few times (once for about 5 seconds) so they're getting there. I'm sure we'll be kicking ourselves once they are walking, but we are just really excited for that next phase!
Although there were a few weeks back in January where we had to put the boys in separate cribs, they are back to sharing one crib all the time again! There is still plenty of room too -- especially since they both like to cram into the same corner or one side of the crib.
Here are some recent pictures. Have a great weekend!

What great pics...they have those cheesy smiles down pat for their Mama. You won't be taking pics in the chair when they are 11 and hopefully they won't be snuggling
either. Looks like Spring in Nashville!! Miss all.
Love,
Nana & Grandpa Sam
