Christmas Recap

Well the boys have been on antibiotics for their ear infections since Monday and are finally feeling better. Since they have only been sick twice ever and Max has gotten ear infections both times and Tyler got it this time, we are really hoping this isn't a chronic problem. Yet another reason to try our best to keep them healthy this winter!

We had a great Christmas and got to see both of our families, starting with a weekend trip to South Bend and spending the rest of the week in Indianapolis. The boys were pretty oblivious to Christmas so I don't even have any good pictures of them opening presents. Oh well, they definitely love all their new toys though! Happy 2009!!

The boys were enamored with Nicholas and they all kept staring at each other! Here are Nick and Tyler in a staring match

We ended the trip with the arrival of another new family member (Max and Tyler's second new cousin within 2 weeks)! Caitlin Marie was born on December 26th to my sister Molly and her husband Micah. She is so beautiful and a really sweet and laid back baby. We were so glad to be in town to meet Caitlin. Congrats on your Princess, Molly and Micah! She is absolutely adorable!

Bridget & Andy:
Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos of Max & Tyler's first Christmas. Is there anything cuter than little ones playing so innocently? Your eagle eye caught the essence of what Christmas is all about, family and wonderment.
I know the travel is very hard on all of you but your presence made this Holiday Season very special.
Happy New Year to the Andy & Bridget Jones family!
Love,
Dad/Big Jim

We have been going so much the last 3 weeks, I just settled down to catch up on DA BLOG. The Xmas pictures I will prize forever. Big Jim's comment is very good. As we get older, we look for evidence of happiness in other ways--not in material things, but in faces, conversations and facial expressions. Its scary how much we think alike, and also fun--we don't have to ask who likes scotch better !!

Sorry--that last comment was Gran-Pa Sam--as if the scotch comment diden't give it away.
