One of the neatest things about having twins is watching their relationship strengthen and develop. When you think about the fact that these two little boys actually started out as one egg, it is easy to see why they are already so attached to each other. They have been right by each other's side ever since they were bumping into each other inside my stomach. How cool to have a soul mate from birth with whom you get to experience all of life's ups and downs!
As previously mentioned, one of our favorite things is having Max and Tyler sleep together in the same crib. At first, when they still slept completely swaddled, we would put each of them on separate ends of the crib to start off the night. Without fail, every morning they would be snuggled up right next to each other (which is no small feat considering their arms and legs were wrapped up tight like a burrito!). To have been a fly on the wall and watched how they maneuvered that would have been pretty amusing.
Now that they are a little older, more mobile, and sleeping unswaddled, they cannot fall asleep unless they are touching each other from the beginning. Even if we try to separate them a little, they roll or scoot until they are touching in some way. One night I had put Max in the crib while I finished feeding Tyler. I sat and watched as he rolled toward Tyler's side, trying to find him. He rolled and rolled and rolled until he finally hit the end of the crib - and no Tyler - at which point he immediately started whining. Whenever the dreadful day comes that we have to put them in separate cribs, I have a feeling we may have some sleep issues for a while!

That is seriously the cutest thing I've ever seen! I ADORE those photos - so cute! I love that they always have to be touching - even if it's just feet, toes, hands, etc. How cute that they like to sleep with their feet on top of each other! Oh my gosh that is heartwarming!

Oh my gosh, I have had the craziest week and just looking at those pictures was such a boost! It's good to remember the little things like snuggling up at night. :) I giggled through the whole series of pics!
