8 Months Old

It looks like another month has gone by because the boys are now 8 months old! Based on estimates from our home scale, the boys are approaching 15 pounds - and I can definitely feel the weight gain when I'm lugging them up and down the stairs all day. Sure makes me wish we lived in a ranch rather than a 3 story townhouse :)

We think the boys are starting to teeth as they've been fussier than normal and putting everything in their mouths. And they are certainly no longer little babies who sleep most of the day. Quite the contrary, they seem to get bored pretty easily and want some type of entertainment all day long! They have both started pushing off their feet when they are on the ground, so we know crawling is somewhere on the horizon. Tyler pushes himself around in a full circle just about all day long (see below for a very short video).

Other than that we are just enjoying the fall weather and hoping we have another mild winter in Tennessee!

I missed several months at the beginning (for obvious reasons), but I am now taking monthly pictures of the boys on this chair. Tyler on the left, Max on the right at 8 months old. Click here for a reminder of their 6 and 7 month pics.

And I forgot that I took this one at 4 months old or 1 month adjusted (from their due date). I don't even recognize them! We think Tyler is on the left and Max on the right, but who knows :)

Just a random diaper shot

This is a few weeks old, but Big Jim and Granpa Sam had a great time at the ND/ Purdue game.... the Irish fans perhaps a little more than the Boilers... Sorry, Dad.
