On February 4th, Tyler and Max were born weighing 2 lbs 1/4 oz and 1 lb 13 1/4 oz. Four months later they have quadrupled their size and each weigh more than 8 pounds. Pretty amazing! The boys are doing great and are growing every day. Today they gave us a great 4 month birthday present and really smiled multiple times throughout the day! I think it's safe to say they've gotten the hang of smiling.... and already know that it melts Mom and Dad's hearts. Tyler was fussing and whining this afternoon so I went over and picked him up. The second I held him, he stopped fussing and gave me a huge grin. If only he could talk, I think I would have given him anything he asked for in the world :)
We had a great weekend with "Aunt" Jenny - aka my best friend since 6th grade. She caught onto everything really quickly and was such a big help. And she even let us sleep through the night on Saturday while she did the night feedings. Such a treat! Saturday night was also eventful because the boys stayed home with their first babysitters! We had a wedding shower to attend so my co-worker Melissa and her roommate Colleen came to hang out with the boys. The fact that our party was 8 minutes away from home and we knew the boys were in excellent hands eased any anxiety we may have had about leaving them. Thank you girls for letting us have a fun night out!
We head back to Vanderbilt on Friday to check up on the boys' lungs, so hopefully we'll start weaning them off their oxygen. We'll keep you posted!

Andy and Jenny tackle bath time
The best shot I could get without exposing their manhood on the internet. We fit both of their little tubs into our big tub.
"Aunt" Jenny with the boys after their baths
Both boys have huge blue eyes - which is strange because both Andy and I have hazel/green eyes. Wonder if they'll change as they get older? Here's Tyler staring up at me after his bath.

wide-eyed tyler is by far my fav pic this post!
I love their smiles! You'll have to get them on video sometime.
Oh my gosh they ARE smiling! Why did they wait until I was gone to do that? SO CUTE! Favorite weekend of 2008 so far was coming to see the 4 of you! Love you!
