Photo Shoot

If the love for your children was measured by the number of pictures you take, I think it's safe to say that Max and Tyler are very well-loved. They are barely one month old and I think we must have 500 pictures saved on our computer. If we can't be with them all the time, at least we have plenty of pictures to look at!

The boys had a good night last night and are doing well today. Andy got to hold Max for the first time, and again, I'm not sure who enjoyed it more! He was wrapped up like a tiny burrito and stared at Dad most of the time. The boys were also weighed on their new scale, which is outside of their isolettes (the old beds had built-in scales), so of course we got some pictures. They were getting new tape for their feeding tubes too, so we even got to see their whole face. They really look like different babies without all that tape on their face... almost hard to recognize!

Max is really in on the fun now and got to do Kangaroo Care with his mamma today. He did so well and of course I loved every minute of it. I tried to plan my escape route to sneak him out with me, but figured it would benefit no one if I was banned from the NICU.

Today was another good day, so the prayers must be working. It has been said that God only gives us as much as we can handle. Watching the way these boys are fighting, I guess God knows what He is doing.

Close-up shot (his oxygen tube looks a bit tight, but check out the chubby cheeks!)

Tyler all wrapped up while his bed gets new blankets. Who is this little man?

Max's turn for the scale (can you tell they are identical twins?)

Enjoying every minute

You can never have too many pictures, Bridge. Each one is so precious. They really are starting to fill out! I love their soft little hair too. Your boys are already quite handsome. :) Love you all!

The pictures are wonderful. We have now 'met' the REAL Tyler and Max with only their oxygen tubes. Thank God for another good day for our heroes. And Mac wants you to know what great parents they have. (hear, hear, of course but he said it first!) Love, Mac & Nuala

One of the many joys of being a NICU nurse is to meet exceptionally nice parents, but to have them be wise and realistic is an added blessing. You two make my job lots of fun (the boys make it worthwhile, too!!!!). Keep looking to the Lord - He is the giver of this wonderful journey you're taking - slow though it may be - enjoy each day. I pray for you daily.

I love you all,

I finally found how to send comments(mom showed me) WHAT WONDERFUL TECHNOLOGY THAT ALLOWS US TO "HEAR YOU SPEAK" AND SEE THE PHOTES THAT CORRESPOND. WE CAN'T WAIT TO VISIT AGAIN. A DAY DOESN'T GO BY THAT GRANDMA AND GRANDPA jONES DON'T ASK GOD TO CRADLE MAX AND TYLER IN HIS LOVING HANDS (MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY)!!! I BET BIG JIM IS RIGHT THERE TOO !!

Another fantastic day, and we're so happy to hear it. Max and Tyler really are so handsome, you can definitely see their sweet features while the tape is off!
Bridget and Andy, if we can feel all that love through a computer screen, I know those boys feel it with every touch. Love, Missy

I just got this link from Katie, so catching up on your journey has been fun. Just wanted to pass along that Max, Tyler and both of you are in my thoughts and prayers and that your tiny little guys are so precious and true miracles. All the best to you and the boys and your families.
