About a month ago, Max and Tyler asked us to take off their training wheels. I read an article about teaching kids to ride a bike that suggested lowering the seat far enough so they can stand flat-footed and catch themselves when they fall (helping them learn how to balance) so that's what we did. They played around with their bikes for a few days and then forgot about it for a while. Last week Tyler decided to start practicing again... and insisted that he didn't need any help. Then on Friday, it finally clicked and he taught himself how to ride a two-wheeled bike! See below for his advice for Max ;)
