The thought had crossed my mind a few times to update this blog before now (since the last post was in August... oops), but for whatever reason, I never made it a priority. Since I
know I'll never be able to "catch up" and do a recap of everything
that's happened in the past four months, I'll just give a few
highlights. I hope everyone had a great holiday season!
Several trips to South Bend for Notre Dame games/tailgating
A family trip to Denver to visit Uncle Chris, Aunt Amy, and Cousin Olivia (who turned 1 while we were there!)
Maisie turned 2 on October 20th and celebrated with a Dora-themed bday party!
Halloween! Gold Power Ranger Max, Purple Dragon Maisie, and Red Power Ranger Tyler
Thanksgiving in South Bend
Lots of Pictures from December and Christmas
Maisie refused to go anywhere near Santa. For days following this visit, she kept saying "Santa scary." :)

Max, Maisie (dressed by her brothers), and Tyler after we got our tree

Best buds
Sledding after the blizzard
Christmas Eve at Big Jim's

Max and Tyler eagerly awaiting present-opening time

A final celebration with Grandpa Sam and Nana the weekend after Christmas
And the biggest highlight of all...
Coming this May!
If you would have told me four years ago when I wrote this (and had 11-month-old twins) that my wish for four kids would be coming true, I'm not sure I would have believed it. But here we are... and here he or she comes! We feel very lucky and excited and look forward to our craziest summer yet.
PS - if you haven't checked out my sister's blog, Life in 56, about her and my dad's 8-week life journey, do it! She is a very talented writer and they are doing a lot of great things.
