Welp, it looks like Max and Tyler are officially sleeping in separate cribs! They were both really sick in February and ended up sleeping with us quite a bit. So when we tried to get them back in their routine last week, we figured the screaming at bedtime and waking in the middle of the night was just because they got used to sleeping with us. We started dreading bedtime with our previously awesome sleepers because they would scream and scream and not want to go to sleep. So on Sunday night, after about an hour of trying to get them to sleep with no luck, we decided to split them up. To our surprise, they did great and slept 11-12 hours and woke up happier than normal! We've been hyping up their "own" cribs and they love it. This morning, Max woke up before Tyler, and I walked in the room to see him peering into Tyler's crib yelling "Ty" and trying to wake him up. He did the same thing at nap time too.
Knock on wood, but it seems like this separate crib thing is working. A bit sad to see the snoogling end, but I think 2+ years together was pretty cool. I started working on a video montage (see below) of their sleeping pics at least a year ago, but couldn't finish it until now. Enjoy!

I have been anxiously waiting for the next update to Double Vision, and BOY was it definitely worth the wait! I already know that repeat visits are in my future to this beautiful montage of Max & Tyler, friends forever. Thanks, Bridge, for letting us experience their journey. Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
Big Jim was right, this was worth the wait. Another beautiful (bring on the tears) tribute to the wonderment of twins. This just goes to show that all changes will
happen when they are ready.
Happy St. Paddy's Day to All!!
