The boys had their 18 month pediatrician appointment on Monday and in true twin fashion, they both weigh exactly 20.0 pounds! They are only in the 3rd percentile for weight (meaning 97% of 18 month-olds weigh more than them), but the doctor is pleased with their steady weight gain. They have both grown 2 inches in the last 3 months and Max is 31 inches and Tyler is 30.5 inches -- both around the 7th percentile, I think.
We also had an annual follow-up with Tennessee Early Intervention last week. One of the evaluators came to our house and watched the boys play and asked me a ton of questions about their development. We were shocked to hear that Max and Tyler were assessed at the level of 21 month-olds! This is an overall level, which means that they might be ahead of or behind this level for certain things (for example - they can't run yet but they are saying a ton of words). But this is pretty crazy since they are only 18 months old and 15 months old adjusted. Needless to say we are very proud of our little fighters.
Just a few pictures!

I truly believe the boys can't run yet to give you and Andy time to get in shape to be chasing them when they do start. We saw at the Indians game that they do not walk in lock step and they often were heading in completely opposite directions.
Max & Tyler are absolutely terrific and are growning up way too fast. But boy are they fun!
Keep those photos coming!
Love,
