Baptism

One of the most special parts of our trip to Indiana was getting Max and Tyler baptized. We had a quadruple baptism with Max, Tyler, cousin Alex and cousin Caitlin at Andy's childhood church in South Bend, Holy Cross Church. It was so fun having everyone together and Father Mike did a wonderful job with the ceremony. Special thanks to Grandpa Sam and Nana for having everyone over to their house for celebratory food and drinks.

Be sure to check out Molly's blog for even more pictures from the baptism!

All of the parents and Godparents (we were all each others kids' Godparents too!)
Molly, Andy, Max, Tyler, Micah, Fr. Mike, Adam, Kelly, Alex, Bridget & Caitlin

Max with his Godparents, Aunt Kelly and Uncle Adam (still crying from the cold water on his head)

Tyler with his Godparents, Uncle Micah and Aunt Molly (also a bit unhappy)

Caitlin with her Godparents, Uncle Andy and Aunt Bridget

With all the picture-taking madness we forgot to get a picture of Alex with his Godparents! (Uncle Andy and Aunt Bridget). But here's one of Alex with mom and dad instead.

The whole group

Alexander Lee in his gorgeous baptismal gown

Since little Alex was forced to wear a dress, Adam gave him back his manhood by turning his slip into a cool head piece

Aunt Katie and Alex

Princess Caitlin and Papu

Cousins playing after the baptism

Family picture (we missed you Aunt Court!)

Tyler, Max and Alex with their Great Grandparents

With all the grandpas

I cried when i saw this section. Of course, if true be told, I do so most of the time. To offer our grandchildren up to the Lord was pretty special (right Big Jim ?) We will not forget july of 2009 for many years to come (by then we probably won't remember much at all). Thanks for a wonderful visit--G-Pa sam

All of these little kids are so cute, but I think Andy's Grandpa is the cutest of all! :)
