And the results of the photo guessing game....
Don't worry if you guessed wrong... they are identical twins, you know :) Andy and I even have to look really close sometimes to make sure we have it right. Many people have asked how we tell them apart... and there really aren't any specific things we look for. There is just something that is "Max"to us and something that is "Tyler." Sometimes you can tell a difference in their mouths and their eyes, but not always. If ever in doubt, just put them on the floor and the one who immediately rolls over onto his stomach (like within about 3 seconds) is Tyler. Max also drools a ton and sucks on everything in sight. Oh yah and it looks like Max is going to have an "outtie" belly button and Tyler has an "innie." Although I hope this doesn't lead to them being 5 years old and having to lift up their shirts so people can tell them apart. :)

The other day I was upstairs and heard the boys cracking up downstairs. I peered down to find them dying laughing at Andy. I recorded this from the top of the stairs so you can't see their faces extremely well, but it's pretty funny. Max is the left and can barely breathe he's laughing so hard :)

Oh my gosh! What was Andy doing that made them laugh so hard? That's awesome!
Bridget & Andy:
I know they were laughing at Andy's antics, but after watching the Laughing at Daddy video and then watching the Max & Tyler NICU Journey video it seems to me they were laughing so hard because of where they have been. The lesson to be learned is that life presents a lot of challenges but when it is all said and done laughter is the best medicine! I have a feeling Max & Tyler will be teaching us all a lot more life lessons over the years!
Thanks for the wonderful video.

Bridget--your dad's comment is very profound. I too have wondered why they smile so much and so big. They don't know yet--but they obviously know that life is good after having challenges in their early months--look at the photos of them just born. We remember our fist touch thru the "hole" like it was yesterday. G-Pa Sam
Oh my goodness...how amazing! It's something about daddy's they have a special touch!
