We had our follow-up meeting with TN Early Intervention yesterday to review the boys' evaluations from a few weeks ago. I had to have the lady explain this to me several times because I couldn't believe it, but Max and Tyler both tested within normal range for all developmental skills (such as communication, gross motor, fine motor, adaptive) for their REAL age - not adjusted age. I was shocked! In other words, if they would have been born full term in February instead of 14 weeks early, there would still be no cause for concern in any areas of development. She said they probably would have tested further ahead if they had been born on time, but they are not outside the normal limits for 6-7 months old. Needless to say we were very excited and so proud of these little guys! Our case manager with TN Early Intervention is still going to come to our house twice a month to check on the boys and give us tools to help their continual development, which is great.
Here are some pictures from the past few days!

Those boys come from good stock, strong too. What terrific news. You two must be on cloud nine. Max and Tyler are Miracle Babies and they just keep surprising all of us.
Love the photo of them watching TV. Classic.
Can't wait to hear them laughing, which they seem to do a lot.
Love,
Dad/Big Jim

See you this weekend!!

What exciting news!! Maybe it was a blessing that they were born early...we wouldn't have wanted geeky little geniuses. These little miracles are the product of alot of prayers and their Grandma Susie looking over them.
Can't wait for our next visit. Need to start working on "ma ma" and "da da" next.
