After three trips from South Bend, IN to Nashville, TN in the past two months - an 8 hour drive one-way - Sam and Linda finally got to hold their first grandsons. And they arrived with more gifts for the boys than we know what to do with! We are having a great time and are looking forward to Max and Tyler's first Easter celebration. Here are a few pictures for now and of course we'll write more after the weekend. The boys have been taking the bottle really well and Tyler even got to wear clothes today! Once Max hits 1500 grams, he'll be able to wear them too. Tyler's outfit is preemie sized and he is swimming in it!
Happy Easter from all of the Joneses!

Another wonderful entry! We are so thrilled to see how your boys are growing. And how exciting that a good day now includes bottle feedings and new little outfits. What miracles!! We hope you enjoyed your Easter with your new little "peeps".

Andy and Bridget, Love Tyler in his clothes! Is Max in clothes yet? It sure looks like Sam and Linda had a great time! So sorry I missed them. I caught up on the blog and Bridget you could have another career in writing! There were times I wanted to laugh and times I was brought to tears. You and Andy have a very real perspective on the NICU experience. I have told you once but I know part of the reason the boys have done so well is because you both put the boys best interests first. Y'all are awesome parents!!!! Love ya and see ya on Thursday! Karen NICU
Bridge and Andy:
Just a beautiful Easter weekend. Thanks for sharing those moments with us. It was terrific to see Sam and Linda able to hold Max and Tyler and even help feed them a real bottle. The boys look so good. Tyler in his pajamas is priceless. The smile on Linda's face shows a lot of pride and relief. She looks good holding both of them. As you noted, Like a Pro. We sure have some nice days to look forward to even as we enjoy the present. Their wonderful NICU Nurse, Karen, expressed it so well and beautifully.
Love,
Dad/Big Jim
